Job Description for Solution Architect
Are you ready to seize an opportunity to work with established and innovative enterprises in the fastest growing economy, China? Do you want to employ your strong business and architectural skills to create innovative solutions for the municipal government and local enterprises? Microsoft Asia-Pacific Research and Development Group (ARD) are looking for the passionate candidates to join us to apply their skillsets and create the significant business impact in China for the company.
Key Responsibilities
Understand the customer pain points, analyze the market needs, design and develop the solution blueprint that align with the broader business goals in an innovative fashion through the objective assessment of the customer’s existing business imperatives and IT investments
Build up industrial know-how and in-depth understanding of market requirements to define common scenarios, provide architecture design, and translate the business requirements to engineering specification in order to guide and oversee the engineering resource to develop the key solutions / solution components and accelerate the adoption of Microsoft Platform
Provide extensive solution consulting experience and industrial best practices in order to sell our platform enabled application solutions at an executive level, win the trusted relationship from government and influence the adoption of Microsoft technologies and platforms
Support the market development activities to help qualify the right opportunity, contribute to the proposal development, and coordinate the engineering resource to perform proof of concept (POC) projects in in order to win the customer
Serve as a consultant to local solution partners to help them develop and deliver the MS platform enabled solutions to government and enterprise customers

職位所需技能
Qualification and Experience:
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree on Computer Science, Social Science or Business, higher relevant education will be preferred.
At least 10 year related IT working experience including business and technology consulting, business case development, solution and architecture design, application development and system implementation.
Demonstrate the significant working experience in at least one specialization from the three categories below:
o Industry: Government; Education, Transportation, Energy & Utilities, Healthcare, Telco, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Financials
o Technology: Public and Private Cloud, Enterprise Data Platform, Mobile Computing, IOT & M2M, Unified Communications and Collaboration, and Enterprise Application Integration
o Architecture Specializations: Needs Analysis and Envisioning, Business Architecture, Technical Architecture, Organizational Design and Change Management, IT Governance, and IT-led Business Innovation
A resourceful problem-solver with good inter-personal communication ability, able to orchestrate internal and external resources where and when needed to do what’s right for the customer, the partner and the organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skill in both English and Mandarins is a must and working experience in a multi-cultural international company will be an advantage.
Willing to travel within China and the requirement is about 40% of the working time
